Warranty & Policy

This document outlines the limited warranties provided by Solar Overstocks for solar Photovoltaic (PV) systems in the United Kingdom.

1. Product & Performance Warranties

These warranties cover components as supplied and are passed through directly from the original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).

2. Exclusions & Claims

General Exclusions (Not Covered)

The warranty does not apply to:

  • Damage resulting from natural disasters or acts of God; including lightning, floods, or wind speeds beyond certified limits.
  • Damage caused by external factors such as impact, fire, misuse, neglect, or insufficient maintenance by the customer.
  • Repairs, alterations, or modifications carried out by unauthorized third parties.
  • Normal wear, aging, or cosmetic changes that do not affect system performance.

How to Submit a Claim

Customers must notify Solar Overstocks in writing (email or post) within 30 days of discovering a defect. The claim must include:

  • Original installation date
  • System details
  • Clear description of the issue

All remedies are limited to repair, replacement, or reimbursement; the choice is at the Company’s discretion.

3. Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
